I just notice a lot of people here hate Iruka Sensei and most of the kids especially Sakura. well in my opinion that's base on fact, Iruka Umino's Parents been killed by Kyubi's attack on konoha before so we can't blame the person if he hold a grudge against the Kyubi that resides inside naruto or what we may call a Jinchuriki. Also a lot villagers been killed before so almost all of the people on konoha except the new generation hold a grudge against Kyubi. So them knowing that the Kyubi is inside naruto, they are really keeping an eye on him because they don't trust 4th hokage seal. They believe that the seal can be broken anytime around and it will bring another disaster to the village so all of the old generation made their kids (new generation) not to bother or get closer to him (even hinata's guardian) all of them. Also the kids (new generation) are just honest to their feelings unlike us oldies we have broad understanding and tend to hide our feelings. If the kids feels annoyed or irritated, they will surely say it and as you can see, naruto is a mischievous kid who makes a lot of trouble in the village because he thought that's the only way to make the villagers acknowledge his existence by pulling pranks or annoying them. If he only act cool or don't bother or make someone annoyed, maybe he will impressed people around just like sasuke who is fully determined as a kid to be strong (knowing his background story, he is likely to be). He practice a lot more than the other kids that's why people around him are impressed with his characteristic unlike naruto doing the other way. sakura and ino also are just being honest to their feelings that's why they really simp on sasuke and being annoyed to naruto because of his troubling attitude. If only we understand the person before make decision if we are going to be annoyed or somehow accept them, our world will become a better place. Kindly deepen your understanding before you decide on something people.

I really am getting irritated by those squealing girls Blegh. I understand why Iruka was also hesitant and distant. Anyone who didn't know how Naruto felt, why he did things like that would be. It's so agonizing as a reader or as an audience to know how a character feels but be unable to tell about it to others and watch the character suffer.
